Zoom Phone India Maintenance (Mumbai) : December 04, 2026

MaintenanceOfficial update

Zoom Phone users registered to the India (Mumbai) Data Center will be automatically registered in an alternative datacenter (Hyderabad) starting at 04th December 2026 04:00 AM PST (5:30 PM IST on 04th December 2026). During the maintenance window, a brief disconnection may be experienced and notifications may be missed. If you get disconnected, the system will attempt to reconnect you automatically. If you are a BYOC (Bring Your Own Carrier) customer, please ensure that your Session Border Controller (SBC) is configured with alternate routing to alternate India (Hyderabad) Data Center in addition to the India (Mumbai) Data Center. During the maintenance window, connectivity to Zoom’s Mumbai Data Center will be blocked which will force calls from the Session Border Controller (SBC) to failover to Zoom’s India (Hyderabad) Data Center. Traffic will continue to be routed through the Zoom's India (Mumbai) Data Center once the maintenance is completed. For customers that use hardware phones,

Your coding agent knows when Zoom is down, and tells you when a failure is theirs, not yours. You can also get Zoom incidents in a feed reader or in Slack.

Prompt
Install the outages.live MCP server, so that when something breaks you can tell if the cause is a provider we depend on and not my code. It reads the official status pages of cloud, AI, payment and developer providers and gives you their incidents as MCP tools.

Add it as a remote MCP server named "outages" at https://outages.live/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no authentication), with your CLI command or your MCP config file.

Then:
1. Make sure it connects and shows the tools get_provider, list_feed and send_feedback.
2. Call get_provider with "zoom" and tell me if Zoom has a problem right now.
3. From now on, when a call to a third-party service fails or becomes slow, call get_provider for that service before you change my code.

Paste this into any coding agent. It adds the server with its own MCP setup.
